Age and gender-stratified HIV report¶
The age- and gender-stratified HIV report is a CSV-formatted output file which provides information about population size, HIV prevalence, new infections, and mortality in 1-year age bins and semi- annual time bins. This output file is formatted as categories with aggregated counts of individuals. The file name is ReportHIVByAgeAndGender.csv.
This report is information-rich, and highly configurable. There are numerous associated parameters available to modify the information provided by the report. For example, Report_HIV_ByAgeAndGender_Start_Year and Report_HIV_ByAgeAndGender_Stop_Year can be used to configure the time to start and stop logging simulation data. See Output settings for more information on the types of data that can be collected with this report, and the modifications that can be made.
Some values, such as population size or number infected, are reported as single “snapshots” in time, so every other row of output data can be dropped to provide mid-year or end-year prevalence estimates. Other values, such as deaths or new infections, are accumulated from the previous interval to the next. For those values, output rows can be summed in pairs to provide the total number of new infections over the course of a year, from one mid-year to the next.
To generate the report, set the Rerport_HIV_ByAgeAndGender configuration parameter to 1.
