Multi-route HINT¶
Only simulations using the environmental model (or inherited from environmental, such as typhoid) can use Heterogeneous Intra-Node Transmission (HINT) or Multi-route HINT to configure heterogeneous disease transmission within each node and across multiple routes of exposure. Generic, airborne, or TBHIV simulations can only use Heterogeneous Intra-Node Transmission (HINT) for contact-based transmission, and all other simulation types have preconfigured solutions for heterogeneous disease transmission based on the biological processes of the disease being modeled. For example, you can set parameters for parasite density, viral load, mosquito bites, and other relevant transmission factors.
See Infectivity and transmission parameters for more information on configuring transmission in this simulation type.
